Hello, I'm Cheyanne Ang Xuan Ting. I'm currently a year 3 student studying Electrical Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore. I am a kind and compassionate person who loves to help others when they need a helping hand. I am also a hardworking person who does things to the best of my ability.
I'm also an organized person and enjoy keeping things in order and tidy. Moreover, I am a creative person and I love to create new ideas to help improve our society.

Projects I have Done
IRP2 Project
October 2022 - February 2023
In this project, my teammates and I decided to build a microcontroller device for visually impaired people. through this, I have learned so much about how to integrate what I learn in my lessons with what I see in our current society. I have also learned that there are still so many ways for us to help the people around us by creating products that help to improve their standard of living. I have also improved more knowledge of how to use Arduino in my projects.

July - August 2022
through this project, IÂ have learnt to use my time and ensure that I complete the task as soon as possible to meet the dateline. as this was a period where any problems and things have occurred in my life, I have learnt to manage my time wisely. I have also learnt how to make a target by using my home materials and it teaches me to find use in things that we don't usually use often. I have learnt how to use platforms such as TinkerCad and Arduino through this project.

May - July 2022
this project have made me learnt about using my own creativity to build my own products such as a catapult. I have also learnt on how to find useful information for my research and find out ways to improve the quality of my prototype. I have also learnt on how to be prepared for my speech and how to present it in a more convincing and well paced manner.
Even though there were times of procrastination, i have decided to convince myself to hold on and persevere through this project as it was a comprehensive project.

April - May 2022
through this project, I have learnt about the engineering industry and how engineering has become a huge part of our lives. I have also learnt more about the manufacturing industry which I have been tasked to do a project on. Hence, I have learnt many things through this project.
Ecosystem project
August - September 2019
In secondary school, my school had a project that I participated in with a group of friends for our Continuous Assessment. it was on the ecosystem and my group and I decided to use Lego blocks to showcase our proposal. through this project, I was able to research more about how ecosystems can help humans, especially in the school setting where it can be a place for students to enjoy their break and destress. I have also learned about accepting people's opinions and it has helped me improve a lot as a person. despite being a slightly foreign topic, me and my groupmates were able to do well in it and it was one of the best experiences I had when it comes to projects.

Work Experience
4th March 2024-2nd August 2024
Intern(Maintenance(electrical)/Switch house), Senoko Energy Pte Ltd
During my internship, my job scope is to assist in the EM2 switch house cluster, document the electrical drawings, clean up the Work Method Statement (WMS)/ On-Job-Training (OJT) documents, and upload them on MS Teams. I also help in projects involving switching, testing, and taking down readings of the various gauges within the switch house. I am also required to attend OJT lessons where I get to learn more about the various tests and preventive maintenance work for systems here in Senoko. Through this internship, I have learned skills such as using the relays and motors here and how to do a Secondary Injection test. I have also learned a lot more about the power generation industry as I got to see at switchboards and conduct switching which not many people will get to experience in their careers. I have also learned skills like creating a platform for employees to key in the data so that it is more user-friendly to everyone. All in all, this internship has taught me great skills and I have learned a lot about my field of study.

My role in this job is to promote the newly released technology to customers and help assist customers when they are testing out the products. I was also tasked to crowd control and assist anyone who needed help. through this job experience, I was able to learn many things such as improving my communication with my colleagues and helping each other out when the crowd is getting bigger. IÂ also learned that our teamwork needs to be well in order for the event to run well.

my job scope for this job is to create a lively and welcoming atmostphere for the guests who are coming for this event. i was also tasked to introduce the history of mickey mouse as they go through the different rooms and interact with them. in this job, i also had to check on their booking timings and crowd control each room. through this job, I have learned things like how to showcase myself in a polite yet cheerful way. despite being my first job, I felt that the environment was really fun and enjoyable as everyone was working together as a team and ready to help out someone when they needed help. IÂ also learned that communication is the key when it comes to events and IÂ need to be more extroverted and outspoken.
